Apparently not wanting to leave all the fun to Rep. Roy Blunt, Senator Jim Talent has also been accepting "kinky money" from phone sex magnates for his upcoming campaign for re-election.
Under the headline, Kinky Money, Roll Call reported this morning that Jeffrey and Dawn Prosser were two of the largest individual contributors to Rep. Roy Blunt's leadershp PAC last year. The Prossers made their fortune in the phone sex business. Blunt has declined to return the contributions.
After reviewing FEC records, Fired Up! has now learned that Senator Jim Talent has also apparently been spending some phone time with the Prossers. Last June, Prosser, who has been referred to in the media as a world-class phone-sex operator, and his wife, gave Talent's campaign $4,200.
No word as to whether Mr. "Family Values" Talent will be returning the money, nor has there been any confirmation of the rumor that the campaign is considering setting up a 1-900 number as a fundraising device.
