RE:  Filing for House--94th

What are the steps to dispute a filing and its veracity?  I would appreciate a heads up.  Thanks!

This is Charles Stadtlander's voting address.

7473 Delmar Blvd
St Louis MO 63130
He filed for H-94 using Bill Jenkins address:
123 S Woodlawn
Kirkwood MO

Is he Bill's partner and has he lived in the district for at least one year?  Jenkins is listed on the press alert as campaign treasurer.

State Representative - Art. III, § 4 Constitution of Missouri & § 21.080, RSMo
  • At least 24 years of age
  • Qualified voter for two years before election
  • Resident of the district which he is chosen to represent for 1 year before election
All Log Cabin press releases prior to 11/28/05 used the Delmar address.  Releases starting in January 2006 used the S. Woodlawn address.
The candidate is listed as president and chairman of the Log Cabin Republicans of Greater St. Louis.

One should place the onus on

One should place the onus on the State to decide about Charles' "compliance" with the laws regarding residency. Along with his voting registration, his drivers licence, the LCR mailing address, his lease in the CWE, and a number of people who visited (and including those that stayed the night) at the Delmar address, I think it will be strongly debated that Charles moved to the Kirkwood address in mid December 2005 as he was released "to the care of friends" upon receiving treatment for suicidal thoughts. (note that comes from Charles email himself to friends and colleagues upon his release from the hospital). There are also emails FROM Charles stating 'I am moving this week" or "I have moved" all dated mid-dec on. As I assume it would be election fraud and a felony to register to run in a district that you did not live in for the appropriate time, I hope for Charles sake he can counter all the evidence.

Charles Stadtlander for State Rep. - 94th Dist (Kirkwood)

Hi Perry,

Hope all is well with you.  I want to say hi, but more importantly, respond.  I hesitated, at the risk of personal or standard partisan attacks from anonymous bloggers, but I give you the benefit of the doubt.

Please rest assured that all the necessary requirements and qualifications have been and are in full compliance with the Secretary of State's Office.  However, thanks for your concern, but yes, Charles has been living in Kirkwood with plenty of documentation to prove it.  Moreover, I know this because I have lived with Bill Jenkins, at his home in Kirkwood for several years.  Neither Bill, nor I, would just let someone live there or file residency to run for office.

Now for those of you looking for some juicy gossip or feel the need to delve into our private lives at home, try someone else's home.  Having said that, we are all just very good friends, who share very strong public and personal interests in politics and have a passion for being active in our community, state, nation and especially our party.

All three of us have been very active in various ways in politics and the Republican Party.  And we have all shared the same ironic experiences of being demonized and ridiculed by some extreme liberal Democrats and gay rights activists while being supported and respected within the Republican Party.  So it is very logical and understandable that not only do we share a residence, we share a common obligation to stand up and fight for the right American causes.

Therefore, it became obvious that Charlie, a strong moderate-conservative Republican, run for state representative in the great American suburb of Kirkwood.  Not only is he qualified, experienced and energetic, he has the passion and heart to fight for the common sense, mainstream concerns of the district.  His vision & values, principles & policies, are overwhelmingly more representative of, and more mutually supported by, the voters in the district, than the extreme-liberal factions that support his opponent.

God Bless!

Andy Buhr - Kirkwood
