License To Loot

If you have friends in Governor Blunt's office, today might be a good day to drop off some Pepto Bismol, because after they read the editorial in today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch, they are going to have quite a stomach ache.  In fact, you'd better make it Maximum Strength.

I won't even try to give you the flavor, you simply must go read the whole thing.

Editorial B

Dear Spaz;

Boy, you barely escaped the headline, didn't you Spaz.  I wonder how long the SPD folks debated closing this editorial punch with an alternative line more directed at you than at Matt.  Maybe something like:  "Being public spokesperson for the governor isn't a license to lie."

Yeah, I agree Spaz.  I too like their printed choice better.  Maybe next time.

Sleep well,

Pass the popcorn!

Please pass the popcorn, this one is going to fun to watch! Hopefully the FBI can actually investigate this fully, completely, no stone or greedy Rethug unturned. I say hopefully because our good friend Kit Bond has a history of meddling, and the FBI is run, after all, by the son of illegal immigrants (reportedly), and we know how dangerous THOSE people can be (tongue firmly in cheek, Roy). Perhaps now things start to happen -- so where is the Democratic response, the plan to truly reform the process, to have real accountability, to have a message to everyday Missourians that this is not an isolated issue, and that by electing Democrats things truly change?

Truth Syrup not strong enough...

George Bush would probably explain it like this:  This Administration is not honest, because dishonest people are in it.  "The Decider" should know.  "Stuff" runs downhill.

Drust

Perhaps a dose of this would help?
