Star's Feeble Attempt to Compare GOP Blogs to Firedup Take 2

Less than a year after the Kansas City Star attempted to compare the now defunct rightmissouri to Firedup, they are asking their readers for a redo. It appears that this weekend they will do a story about how Jeff Roe's site is the new GOP rival to Firedup.

Even before the media was rooting for rightmissouri's success, they were anointing the Missouri Republican Party's blog as the heir-apparent to Temple and friends, only to see it relegated to a dumping ground for GOP press releases.

When will the media call a spade a spade and realize that there just isn't another blog in Missouri that breaks more stories and has more impact on politics than Firedup? Congratulations to Roy and all of the other bloggers for making this site what it is, even if the media won't give you the respect you deserve.
