Feds Sue To Prevent PSC From Protecting Customer Privacy

Two PSC Commissioners have been trying to find out whether AT&T violated Missouri privacy laws when they turned over customer data to the NSA.  The feds have now sued them.

Commissioners Steve Gaw and Robert Clayton subpoenaed AT&T and asked them to provide the legal authority under which they revealed the confidential information of their Missouri customers.  Thus far, AT&T has failed to respond in a substantive manner.

The commissioners have now moved in Cole County Circuit Courrt to have those subpoenas enforced.
