National Journal: Part Of Talent's Problem Is Blunt
Chuck Todd of The Hotline/National Journal lays part of the blame for Talent's perilous hold on his Senate seat at the feet of Governor Matt Blunt.

While that's partly true, a major portion of the mess that Talent finds himself is of his own doing.

NO RIGHTS
As I understand the new bill Bush signed into law....If you are designated as a terrorist or a terrorists group, you automatically lose any of the few rights the republican have left us.... once designated as a terrorist or a dangers person you are thrown into jail or one of the many secret prisons the republicans have set up all over the world that allows torture.... you will not be allowed to notify any family members and you will not be allowed a lawyer. This is REPUBLICAN/EVANGELISTS Justice...or lack of justice. Our nations founders are rolling over in ther graves cause we have allowed a rich frat boy who snorted cocaine and was an alcoholic and was arrested a few times, and who has absolutely no feeling of guilt for killing frogs and kittens...we have allowed this monster to take away rights that our founding fathers assured us we had in the Constitution...but Bush now says of the Constitution.... "It is a G D piece of paper.." and that piece of paper is what he swore to uphold and defend with his hand on the bible... so he lied to us from the start and it has taken this nation 6 long, bloody years to fully understand where the republicans are coming from....God help us cause we sure can't help ourselves....
Talent and Baby Boy Blunt
There is no doubt that Talent will be taken care of by his party when Claire puts him in the unemployment lines. Look at Ashcroft. He lost to a deceased opponent, and the Bushies took him under their wing, and the damage he did to this country is now history. By the way, when a person is placed under arrest, will they still be read the Miranda warning. As I see it, there is no need, an arrested person apparently has no rights. Correct?

Baby Blunt may be one small factor in Talent's decline...but we know he votes like he is told so the dollars keep flooding in...he doens't vote values of Missouri...he votes values of Washington DC... and we are working daily to help Claire to 'bring Talent down" so he can get a real job he is suited for...maybe baby blunt will find a place for him and the Missouri Taxpayers can keep him in the style he has become accustomed to-----
