wow..I didn't know all this but I had already made up my mind to vote against the Amerndment.... there are too many companies who are gona
profit from it...and all those companies already receive government funding along with charitable private funding and a couple have received funds for 50 years....and still no cancer cure or diabetis cure...so why throw more dollars at those organizations until they show advances in curing the disease they purport to want to cure...
WHAT ARE THEIR REAL MOTIVES? THE ACTUAL BALLOT DOES NOT SHOW THE FINE PRINT, IN WHICH ONLY 17.5 PERCENT OF THE FUNDS WILL GO TO ANY KIND OF SMOKING PREVENTION, AND ONLY 15 PERCENT OF THAT WILL GO TO SMOKING CESSATION. AND THEY SAY THEY WANT PEOPLE TO QUIT SMOKING? ALSO IN THE FINE PRINT, 82.5 PERCENT IS GOING TO MEDICAID, AND NOT ALL OF THAT IS SMOKING RELATED. THE BALLOT IS ONLY SHOWING WHAT NON-SMOKERS WANT TO HEAR, NOT THE REAL FACTS OF THE AMENDMENT. DeleteReplyForwardMove... Previous | Next | Back to Messages Save Message Text | Full Headers
