Platte County (Thomas' home) went for Montee

Insult to injury -- Platte County, the home of County Auditor Thomas, went for Montee by almost 3,000 votes.  It's tough to win any statewide race when your own "base" doesn't vote for you.  Oh yeah, they also elected a Democrat as their new County Auditor.  Congrats to Ms. Montee!

Congrats to Susan Montee for a good win!  She was truly the BEST choice for the job.  And THIS Democrat also appreciates the votes in Platte County that named me their NEXT auditor.  Tuesday was indeed a good day for democrats!
