**WARNING** Lafayette County Corruption
Just wanted to bring this to the attention of everyone in the hopes that someone with the resources can prevent this from tearing apart anymore families.
My Fiance is currently incarcerated in the Lafayette County Jail on a conviction and pending charges handed down based on lies told by Law Enforcement Officer's and a Public Defender who just didn't want to take the time to Defend a stubborn, head-injured, Gulf War Veteran who suffers from PTSD because he refused to take a plea and wanted to take it to a Jury instead. That would have required some time and effort and after all what Public Defender has the time to put in the effort? (And 35k per conviction from Uncle Sam can buy alot of neat things for an up and coming County!) I only wish that I had a tenth of that amount for an Attorney.
Our family has been ripped apart and everyday I look at our infant daughter who will be one in less than two weeks and try to figure out how to explain everything to her in a way that she won't be ashamed or afraid of ever defending our Country. She will ask someday why Daddy wasn't there. Children are smarter than what we think they are. I pray everyday that no more families get ripped apart like this. I also pray everyday that those involved in this ask GOD for forgiveness because someday they will have to face HIM and HE will judge them. I have alot of faith in GOD and I know that everything happens for a reason. I just wish that my Fiance would have been given proper justice.
If anyone has the time and/or resources to do something about Lafayette County let me know. I have alot of reports where stories were changed by those involved and would love to share them with anyone interested in bringing the Corruption to a stop.

I read your post. I am Ron's fiance, Jennifer. We have issues in MO too, where they left my fiance's children in abuse and neglect ( you can view his blog ) page and also the documents on my site I put up. http://enigmasmatrix.tripod.com/
My fiance was arrested in 2005 July falsely by Adair County Sheriff's Dept. The officer told him that he could not return the children to their mother because of sexual abuse investigation on her and her husband. DSS worker said same thing to him. The officer then wrote out probable cause statement to the judge that Ron refused to return the children to their mother but left out she could not have contact with the children. Ron had the primary custody of them anyway.
Ron was sent to jail for 34 days. We lost our house, car, everything over this and his schooling.
