Dear Ms. Dog,
I'm just a pup, but it seem to me that some big dogs get more than their share of the meaty bones.

It Is Good To Be The Governor's Brother
Wow. That's all that I can say about what is happening with Matt Blunt's economic tax incentive bill. What began as one of Blunt's main economic priorities has become a vehicle to put money in Andy Blunt's pocket without regard to average Missourians.
A little provision slipped into Blunt's tax incentive bill would legalize ticket scalping. You heard me right, legalize ticket scalping. Now, you might ask what this has to do with Matt and Andy. Well, a quick glance at the lobbyist reports for ticketmaster show that none other than the Governor's brother, brown bag specialist, Andy Blunt.
What makes this legislation so appalling is that ticketmaster can now charge whatever they want for tickets. No longer will Missourians be able to pay face value for their favorite sporting events or concerts. It is bad enough that we are forced to pay a "convenience charge" when we purchase tickets from Andy's client, but now Missourians will have to deal with price gouging when they try to take the family to a baseball game, disney on ice, or any of the other events that requires the purchase of advanced tickets.
When Matt Blunt talks about helping Missouri families, as he did throughout his State of the State address, he is only talking about one Missouri family; his. Now the question remains, how much does Andy (and in turn Matt) stand to profit from this anti-family legislation?
