LoGrasso Fires Elder from House Job: GOP Victimizes Ferrell Victim One More Time

You might think that --after having heaped upon her unwanted sexual advances, a retaliatory firing, and an insensitive and illegal investigation of her claims by the Highway Patrol-- Missouri Republicans were done trying to victimize Heather Elder, the woman who was sexually harassed by former Agriculture Director Fred Ferrell.

Of course, you would be dead wrong. No matter how low our state's GOP powerbrokers get, they can always go one step lower.

Sources tell Fired Up! Missouri that Heather Elder was recently fired, without cause, from a job as a legislative secretary to a Republican House member on orders of GOP House Counsel Don LoGrasso

According to LoGrasso, Elder was "a troublemaker" whom Republican lawmakers ought not employ.  And when LoGrasso went with that politically devious and likely illegal rationale to GOP Rep. Cynthia Davis, who had hired Elder some eight days prior, Davis was only too happy to comply.  Davis promptly ushered Elder over the starboard gunwale, leaving her fired a second time by Republican officials despite having done nothing wrong.

In a vast sea of sickening acts by Missouri's GOP, this one rises far out above the filthy, acidic waves.  The State of Missouri is already exposed to significant liability because of the way Matt Blunt's administration dealt with Ms. Elder, and now the Republican leadership of the House is piling on by making another move against Elder that is probably actionable.

And none of that even gets into the depravity that must've been necessary for Republicans to dream up yet another way to stick it to this poor woman.  Pardon me, but what in the hell is wrong with these people?
