I thought I'd go snooping over on the dark side of the Missouri Blogworld to see if the folks at the Springfield News-Leecher have a point about that "put your name on your blog posts or else [1]" stuff. Here's what I found:
MissouriPulse: The front page looks pretty much like the John-Jon show. All the front page articles are written by John Hancock or Jonathon Prouty. (Hey, wait a minute...doesn't Jon work for John Hancock and Associates [2]?) Ok, so let me revise this. John and his paid toady.
The Source: No bylines. I guess Jeff Roe writes all that stuff himself. So much for finding more people who post their names.
Meanwhile, back home at FiredUp, as I write this, I see six different writers: Howard Beale, Thomas Charles, Jeff Mazur, DemCat, Jefferson Thomas, and yours truly.
Oh, and by the way...did anyone notice that that op-ed piece critical of pseudonyms didn't have a byline?
Hrrrumph..Res ipsa loquitur and all that other "the thing speaks for itself" stuff.
