She's Back. Is Sandra Thomas Really That Desperate For Attention?

That's right, folks.  Sandra Thomas has re-filed her committee and is actively preparing for a rematch...in 2010...against Susan Montee...an election where she got 43% of the vote.  I promise you that I am not making this up.  Check out her statement of committee organization filed with the Ethics Commission (pdf).

As I think about the ramifications of another Thomas run, it makes me smile a bit.  In an election year filled with tough campaigns, bitter attack ads, long nights and national attention, it is actually nice to think that we had one race filled with humor.  I don't believe that I am going out on a limb at all when I say that Sandra Thomas ran perhaps the worst campaign in Missouri history for an open seat.  Who would have thought that Matt Blunt's handpicked auditor candidate would turn out to be so incompetent?

I mean, for God's sake, the woman lost $195,000! I'm no auditor, but to me, that seems like a big problem.  Just for fun, since the campaign is obviously underway, I went back and picked out my favorite clip from the race.  Take a look at it and then feel free to link to your favorites in the comments section (I know there are a lot to choose from, but try).  This should be fun...

Sandra Thomas Explains that losing $195,00 is very complicated and hard work

at least ...

We will get to beat another candidate advised by Jeff Roe. You would think he would want to win an election every once in awhile, but then again the KC Star gives him all that free advertising, why worry.
