A Rasmussen Poll conducted December 12 shows Nixon continues to lead over Blunt (47-42). Rassmussen Reports

There was a 4% increase in the disapproval level of Blunt as governor. Missouri Political News

Blunt continues to be stalled at 42% support.  Jay Nixon's support among independent voters continues to be above the level of support enjoyed by Claire McCaskill in 2006 when she defeated incumbent republican Jim Talent.  Mydd direct democracy
