JOB: Executive Director, Columbia Area United Way

Executive Director, Columbia Area United Way Description: Provides strategic, collaborative leadership to maximize and achieve the UW mission. Develops strategies to foster and increase financial resources for health and human servies. Creates awareness in the community and ensures involvement of diverse constituences. Maintains operational accountability and fiscal integrity within policies set by the Board. Directs and delegates work to implement the strategic plan and to achieve annual goals. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree and five years of executive level experience managing a non-profit organization, or executive level corporate or public sector experience with significant volunteer leadership roles. Experience Requirements: Proven leadership and management skills, particularly in strategic planning, non-profit fiscal management, evaluation of personnel and programs, and operating systems.
