Cautionary tale from Ohio for Sinquefield

Public education opponent Rex Sinquefield is facing an Ethics Commission investigation over his coordinated use of 100 cookie cutter PACs to circumvent state campaign contribution limits.

Last week he got some bad new from Ohio.  

A similar (but much more modest) scheme by a millionaire public school opponent in that state drew a notice of violation from the Ohio Secretary of State.

It remains to be seen whether the Missouri Ethics Commission will follow the lead of Ohio or allow Sinquefiled to make a complete mockery of Missouri campaign finance limits.
