Finance Director, Robin Carnahan for Missouri

Summary: Robin Carnahan for Missouri is seeking a finance director for the 2008 re-election campaign. The individual should be motivated, a self-starter, detail oriented, and organized with experience in campaign fundraising. This position will report to the campaign manager/campaign coordinator.

Description: Tasks:

Write and implement fundraising plan
Establish and achieve quarterly, monthly, and weekly fundraising goals
Work with campaign manager/campaign coordinator to manage campaign cash flow
Schedule, monitor and plan call time
Plan fundraising events
Draft fundraising literature, i.e. mail, e-mails, invitations, etc.
Supervise finance staff
Manage and carry out candidate fundraising calendar
Supervise tracking system of contributions and deposits
Ensure campaign is in compliance with Missouri campaign finance law
Other tasks as assigned

Salary dependent upon experience

Qualifications:
At least one cycle as finance director preferred, two cycles as deputy finance
director on a congressional, statewide or presidential campaign, or comparable fundraising or development experience
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
