In a battleground state, being State Director for a presidential campaign is normally a full-time job. But apparently not for the McCain campaign.
Why do I say that? Well, according to Jo Mannies [1], today, the McCain campaign named Dave Hageman as the State Director for Missouri.
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has hired Dave Hageman of Ellisville to oversee the candidate’s campaign in Missouri.
From 2003 to last year, Hageman had been executive director of the state House Republican Campaign Committee.
He currently is executive director of Victory Enterprises-Missouri, a campaign consulting firm.
Oddly though, according to Jason Rosenbaum [2], he was also named as the media consultant for Rep. Bob Onder's bid for Congress in the 9th congressional district.
This would tend to suggest either a faint-hearted commitment to Onder by Hageman, or a faint-hearted commitment to competing in Missouri by McCain.Dave Hageman of Victory Enterprises has joined the campaign as a Media Consultant. Hageman, who served five years as the Executive Director of the Missouri House Republican Campaign Committee, will handle television and radio production and placement.
