Richard Monroe Represents True Change

Richard Monroe is the Democratic Candidate facing Roy Blunt in the seventh district Congressional race.  His campaign is gaining more and more momentum as voters in this district learn of the voting record and position stands of Blunt.  Mr. Monroe is out on the campaign trail daily, talking to the voters of the district, and is drawing good crowds in the traditionally Republican areas of Jasper, Newton, and McDonald counties.

A former county and federal prosecutor, Mr. Monroe is a friend of law enforcement, and is a fiscal conservative, unlike Roy Blunt, whose tax policies and spending have placed a 9 trillion dollar deficit on the backs of Americans.  I encourage readers from the seventh district and throughout the state to examine Richard's positions at monroeforcongress.com, and to provide financial and/or individual support for his campaign.

As a leader of the House of Representatives for the past seven plus years, and a vigorous supporter of the policies of George Bush, Roy Blunt has to accept some responsibility for the costs of energy, food, fiscal irresponsibility, the war in Iraq, the loss of personal liberties, illegal wiretapping, torture, and all the other abhorrent actions of this administration.  It is time for Roy Blunt to leave Washington, and Richard Monroe is the candidate who can send him home.
