More from NETROOTS NATION

I spoke to Al Gore today in Austin following his address on climate change and the responsibility of bloggers in getting out the message.  I told him that Missouri now has the the only town in America totally powered by wind.  He was thrilled to hear that. This gathering of progressive bloggers at Netroots Nation is a breath of fresh air as they deal creatively with the "democracy crisis." This is definitely a group committed to the election of Obama.

Renewables

I am so glad that you had an opportunity to speak with Al Gore; hopefully, with an Obama Administration, renewable energy research and development will be unhindered politically (maybe, eh?)> Some other worthy names to drop:> Steve Flick, ShowMeEnergy, Centerview, MO: Biomass conversion to fuel pellets--best prospect to offset coal usage by city utilities.> Dave Blume, author of "Alcohol Can Be A Gas", can be heard on Coast To Coast this Thursday: many of the current myths and lies about ethanol are exposed; added emphasis on how ANYONE can utilize the R&D on ethanol.> Steve Harris, Knowledge Publications, many new & out of print books about hydrogen, solar power, energy, and fuel cells; from large scale producer to small, these are library stocking stuffers for the innovative go-getter.> Maybe Mr. Gore could be enticed to visit Missouri! 1st Mo town entirely powered by wind

I thought that honor went to Jefferson City. *|:-^)
