To be a friend of Peter Kinder

Fired Up! Missouri has chronicled a list of questionable behaviors on the part of Peter Kinder as well as pointing out his weaknesses when it comes to ethics.  Even more evidence is appearing showing how beneficial it is to be a friend of Peter Kinder.

Most of us are familiar with the Nathan Cooper (inmate number 34350-044) saga of how an attorney/elected republican/friend of Kinder, illegally brought immigrants into the country and then was given a sweetheart deal when it came time to sentence him.  It was reported people wrote letters asking for leniency for Cooper but Peter Kinder and former Cape Girardeau Prosecutor Kenny Hulshof have yet to say whether they asked for leniency.  Does Hulshof support leniency for someone bringing illegal immigrants into the United States of America if the law breaker is named Nathan Cooper and a friend of Peter Kinder?

Now, thanks for his republican friends, a company closely tied to Cooper has gotten a state government contract.  Is this a payoff for keeping quiet?  Is this just a benefit of being a friend of Kinder?  Both?

Long time friend of Kinder known as Eric Feltner was also given a sweetheart deal and a conviction on a lesser crime for behavior that could have gotten others a prison sentence.  Feltner received NO JAIL TIME for his outrageous behavior.

Of course Fired Up! Missouri has covered other benefits to being a friend of Kinder from tax breaks to jobs.

Peter Kinder wants to continue as Lieutenant Governor ooops!  No, Kinder wants to be Governor but was asked to step aside so Kenny Hulshof can be governor.  But anyway, Kinder continues to strive to be reelected at Lieutenant for reasons that are not clear.  But it would be nice if Kinder would answer questions such as:

What has Kinder done for the people of Missouri other than what Kinder has done his friends like Feltner or Cooper?

Why is it none of our business what Kinder thinks about Medicare legislation?

Did Kinder (and Hulshof) write letters asking for Cooper to receive leniency?

Why is Kinder only now questioning Jetton's ethics and behavior and not years ago?

There are more questions but this is a start.
