ms palin had a child with downs syndrome 4 months ago; 4 months from now her 17 year old unmarried daughter will give birth to a, hopefully, healthy child. while neither of these situations is the "end of the world", in most families they are life-changing events. how many of you would accept the vice presidential nomination with a move of over 3000 miles for not less than 4 years in the same circumstances? i know from first hand experience that it takes parental support for a high school pregnancy/marriage to work out, and not just the financial kind, even if the young couple is committed. i'm trying to figure out how ms palin will provide that support from washington d.c. though she talks the pro life talk, i wonder just how pro family she is.

Ambition

Ambition is a good thing if you don't have any. Sarah has too much, but then she's also the savior of her party, according to the Republics last night, so it's a no-brainer for Governor Palin.

Plus she's a multi-tasker. Doesn't mean she does anything well, just does a lot of things at once.

Good luck to Bristol and Levi and baby. I imagine that since Gov. Palin is a life-long member of the NRA the decision for Levi to marry Bristol was an easy one.
