Vast Difference in Partisan Excitement in a Critical Battleground County

Not long ago, the influential blog DailyKos identified ten counties in the U.S. that if won by Barack Obama will make him President of the United States.  Missouri's own Clay County appeared as #6 on that list.

Given that, there's an interesting contrast between Democratic excitement and Republican enthusiasm less than two days before polls open.  Below are photos of the Clay County Democratic and Republican headquarters taken within an hour of one another this afternoon.
