Unintentional Comedy From Right Wing Nuts For Hulshof

You gotta love it when the Republican primary devolves into accidental comedy as it did when the Missouri Republican Assembly decided to endorse Washington, DC insider Kenny Hulshof to replace his political and ethical mentor Matt Blunt as Governor.

Jo Mannies reports on her blog that the Missouri  Republican Assembly had this to say in their release:

In its release, the group said, “The vote of acclimation was taken recalling the words of Thomas Jefferson who said, ‘One man with courage is a majority.’

Well, if the Missouri Republican Assembly was trying to say that they had acclimated to the culture of corruption of the Blunt Administration, and wished to extend it by endorsing Hulshof, then they picked the right word.

However, if they were looking to say that Hulshof had won the endorsement by a unanimous voice vote, then maybe they were looking for was acclamation.
