Best Wishes To Sheryl Crow
Many Missourians love Sheryl Crow's music. Others are gratetful to her for the assistance she has offered to various worthwhile civic efforts over the years. So, it's sad to hear that she is now battling breast cancer.
The good news is that she caught it early, and her prognosis is excellent.
Sheryl Crow underwent surgery for breast cancer on Wednesday, she
confirmed via her web site. According to the site, Crow's doctors call
her prognosis "excellent"; she will receive radiation therapy treatment
as a precaution. In a statement released to PEOPLE today, Crow's former fiancé,
Lance Armstrong, said, "I was devastated to hear this news. Once again
I'm reminded of just how pervasive this illness is as it has now
touched someone I love deeply."
Best wishes to Sheryl and her family as she takes on this challenge.

Best Wishes to Sheryl Crow
This week I had the opportunity to go to Two Rivers Medical Center in Kennet. I walked through their pediatric unit which seemed large for the size of the hospital. The walls were painted with murals depicting scenes of city and country life. It looked more like a floor at at big city childrens hospital. I commented on that. I was told that Sheryl Crow had paid for the renovation and art work. Our prayers are with her.
