GOP Party Boss: What McCain Really Needs is Mittens
Folks from the Matt Blunt/Mitt Romney/Dead-ender wing of the MOGOP sure do die hard.
But given the "enthusiasm gap" that his own presidential campaign generated, it isn't at all clear to me how putting Mitt Romney on a ticket would do much to excite voters who haven't been turned on by John McCain.
Though making him the Veep choice probably does make sense in that he likely has at least as many houses as McCain.

If McCain and Romney can collect all their houses, and add all their money, they can buy a hotel on Boardwalk and Park Place. Before they...um, you know where those kind usually end up.
