The Bond Standard: Hookers? Sure. Public Bathrooms? Unacceptable!

When U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-LA) recently acknowledged soliciting sex from prostitutes, Missouri Senator Kit Bond said nothing.

However, he is bothered by U.S. Senator Larry Craig's (R-ID) attempt to solicit sex in a Minneapolis airport restroom.

About that, Bond had this to say:

"It is unacceptable for a member of Congress to be soliciting sex in public restrooms," Bond said.

Geez, Senator.  Thanks for clarifying exactly what is and isn't acceptable to family-values Republicans these days.
